While many of the standout looks of the 57th Grammy Awards belonged to female attendees, many of the key looks belonged to male performers and nominees found ways to highlight their unique style with eyewear. From John Mayer’s round glasses in a light brown to fashion forward glasses and sunglasses worn by Questlove and Ryan Adams, here are some of our picks for the eye catching looks of the night.
John Mayer
John Mayer’s round glasses in a light brown acetate were a standout accessory to his classic tux. We loved the way that this look popped both on the red carpet and while on stage performing “Thinking Out Loud” with Ed Sheeran.
Questlove
Questlove is never afraid to make a style statement, and his striated bold square glasses frames were the perfect accessory when combined with a multi-textured suit and silver hi-top runners by Nike.
Patrick Carney
The Black Keys each wore variations of a tailored black suit, with Patrick Carney selecting classic wingtip glasses to go with his monochromatic look.
Beck
Beck’s sunglasses are perfectly on-trend with their rounded angles in matte acetate. We were thrilled to see this Album of the Year winner for Morning Phase to continue showcasing his individual style with a paisley patterned shirt and sleek, modern suit.
Ryan Adams
Ryan Adam’s pink sunglasses were a perfect punctuation to his casual jean and t-shirt rocker style. His red-carpet mate, Jenny Lewis, also opted for a bold style featuring mirrored sunglasses.
Tiësto
Tiësto, the first time Grammy winner and Dutch DJ, went for head-to-toe black with a textured blazer and sleek, dark sunglasses.
