At the tender age of sweet-sixteen, the daughter of Johnny Depp and former partner Vanessa Paradis – Lily-Rose – has landed her first Chanel campaign.
Following in her mother’s footsteps, who fronted Chanel for many years and was regarded as a long-time muse for Karl Lagerfeld, she’s recently been announced as a new ambassador for the brand and the face of their upcoming Pearl eyewear collection.

Envious yet? Modelling for Chanel was definitely not what we’d have been doing at that age. A week before she’d only walked in one of Chanel’s couture’s runway shows and now her name is on every fashion lover’s lips as the fresh face to follow.
As for the collection itself, the Pearl Collection has been a long standing line in Chanel eyewear and this time it takes its name quite literally by embellishing the outline of round sunglass frames with elegant pearls.
She’s been depicted as “a baby doll in a world of imbued with sweetness and femininity”, which sounds about right. All of the new glasses from the collection will not be available until September and we highly suspect this won’t be the last time we hear of Lily-Rose.
Who knows, with mum Vanessa starring in the commercial for the Coco perfume perhaps Chanel even have a mother-daughter collaboration in the works. Watch this space.
