Lewis Hamilton is no stranger to stylish eyewear. The sports star is often spotted in a variety of cool designer shades, from the latest Dior designs to retro-inspired Persol sunnies.
However, it seems that Lewis has swapped his favourite shades for a pair of prescription glasses. That’s right, our favourite Formula One driver has become a glasses wearer!
This week, Lewis showed off his new spectacles in a range of Instagram snaps. As you can see, his style of choice feature simple round metal frames which have a rather retro-inspired vibe. In this photo, Lewis paired his new glasses with a casual outfit as he arrived at LAX airport. Wearing a hoody and ripped jeans, his specs added a polished edge to his look.

Lewis also sported his new glasses when he spoke at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona. Teamed with a Mercedes sweater and hat, his round-framed glasses certainly gave him an intellectual look as he took to the mic.
