Debuting in June, niche British eyewear brand Kirk Originals, collaborated with E.Tautz a brand synonymous with quality British tailoring. It is this shared interest in home- grown design and luxurious materials that made the partnership so strong.
Kirk Originals worked in collaboration with the E.Tautz design team to create two very distinctive sun frames for their SS16 catwalk collection; which complement the sporting and military inspired traditions of E.Tautz.
The bold early 1970s influence Monte Carlo frames and mid 1960s inspired Catania rectangular frame formed the basis of Kirk Originals x E.Tautz sunglasses. Which have been manufactured using specially sourced premium Italian acetate in a range of distinctive colour fades to compliment the E.Tautz SS16 colour palette. Lapis, Cappuccino, Strawberry and Eciat fades are available in both frames.

All frames are designed in London, are hand cut, hand assembled and hand polished by artisan frame specialists in the Jura Mountains, France. Lens are 100% UV 400, and sourced from Kirk Originals traditional family-owned lens factory in Italy. Frames are co-branded with stainless steel Kirk Originals and E.Tautz logos laser-cut and set into the inner temples.
