Italian luxury label Dolce&Gabbana enjoys a reputation for being a cut above the rest, and their latest sunglasses collection is literally cut from a different cloth. The Dolce&Gabbana Lace Collection features real lace, incorporated into the frames of exclusive sunglasses and RX frames, thereby effortlessly combining the brand’s sartorial tradition with quality eyewear craftsmanship. The sunglasses collection encompasses four styles – from 1950s “cat eye” shapes to more classic and geometrical cuts – featuring exclusive details such as a golden and silver plaque engraved with the Dolce&Gabbana logo and gold-plated metal tips. And for that signature D&G finish, the glasses case is also decorated with lace. Available: Summer 2011.
