There’s definitely no better way to explain it; Fendi eyewear might be the up and coming brand to shop for your eyewear. When you see the shapes, textures, prints, and of course the celebs wearing them, then there’s a danger they could soon be hitting your wishlist.
Celebrities worldwide seem to be going crazy for Fendi shades this summer, there’s not been a week gone by where we’ve not spotted one celeb flaunting one of their gorgeous sunnies. Olivia Palermo, queen of style, has even been spotted in some here:

Taking a classic shape the FF 0089 adds a real edgy texture with a sharp mosaic-like top feature. The same sharp cuts, thin metal arms and irregular geometric cut-outs are repeated throughout the range, bringing altogether new look and feel to sunglasses.
When we caught Pixie Lott wearing some Fendi FF 0118 sunglasses from recent pics on holiday, we scrolled through her instagram and noticed she’s been wearing them all summer long too:

Okay we’ll admit it; we’ve got a bit of a soft spot for these Opal Pink FF 0118’s. Although they have a modern cat-eye design, the almost zig-zag arm really separate them from the rest, with cute little triangles sitting within the inner eye. And who can forget Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s Fendi specs at this year’s Cannes Film Festival? Totally retro and channeling the sixties, although we’re betting this pair of Fendi FF 0117 sunglasses would work outside of that decade too:

Unfortunately Cheryl’s exact pair are now unavailable (probably due to their popularity from her wearing them), but we do still have other colours available, our favourite being the classic black and crystal option that are bang on trend: 
And of course a popular high-fashion accessory wouldn’t be so lusted after if it wasn’t for the thousands of fashion bloggers and journalists reporting about it too. Marina Izilova makes us seriously lust after these crystal cat-eye FF 0041’s:

Similar in design to Pixie’s pair, but the added feature of spikey cat-eye gems on the outer eye vamps it up perfectly for summer music festival antics. Yes, you know what we’re talking about.
Fashion blogger-turned-designer Chiara Ferragni seems to worship the same piece too, as shared by Fendi themselves.

With these sharp cuts, thin metal arms and irregular geometric cutouts they make such a dynamic contrast with practically anything you put on. If you wear them with flowery summer dresses, they’ll provide you with a necessary dose of fierceness; if you pair them with rocky, leather jackets, they’ll add to the tough look you might be aiming for.
And what’s probably the fanciest feature, Fendi shades rarely come monochromatic, so there’s other colour options to choose from. Thus, they are never boring, but are tinted in such a way so they never lack refinement.
Even though they are already diligently working on new models for the next season, Fendi advises us not to get rid of this summer’s picks, for the new arrivals will only be an upgraded version. Thus, don’t waste your time, get use of the last sunny days and show your exquisite taste in fashion.
