Morris Plains, NJ – March, 2013 –Charmant USA hosted 30 Japanese high school students from Niigata High School. Charmant USA President, Harry Aida greeted the students upon their arrival at Charmant. After introductions were made by executives and management, students were taken on a tour to explore the different departments and learn about what each department does on a day-to-day basis.
“We were happy to share our enthusiasm for Charmant and New Jersey with the Japanese students,” states Harry Aida, president of Charmant USA. “They were very interested in learning what everyone here does on a daily basis and asked many thoughtful questions about the skills required to complete different jobs.”
At the conclusion of the tour, the high schoolers performed a cheer in Japanese, and thanked Charmant management for the opportunity to learn about the business. Charmant provided gifts of PUMA and Esprit sunwear to the students and chaperones. Their visit ended with socializing in the lobby, before they headed to New York City to sightsee.
The high school students were selected from among their peers to visit the United States for two weeks. In addition to visiting Charmant to see how a business works, their visit included a tour of an American high school and college
