New York and Los Angeles seem to be THE places for artistic eyewear. Los Angeles based Burkinabae is one of those funky, arty and fun sunglasses that wearing makes you feel Like A Queen For A Day.
The Burkinabae name is taken from the people of Burkina Faso and the inspiration behind her eyewear. The line has teamed up with a non profit organization, Self Help Africa. 10% of both online and vendor sales are given back to help build self sustainment.
For some reason, to me the eyewear speaks of a joy of living, it gladdens the heart, whether it is because I would truly feel like a Queen for a Day or the joy of wearing a garden.. who knows, what we do know, is we love it.
