3.1 Phillip Lim’s Sunwear inspiration for Spring/Summer 2013 runway was “cut-up”, a technique that hails from Dada literary technique. The overall effect translates to mixed and matched textures and prints. The eyewear collection integrates this look through various printed acetates in plaid, dots, leopard and matte. Colors include classic blacks and tortoises with baby blue, purple, lavender, pink and navy. All pieces are designed in SOHO, NY and handmade in Japan.
